The National Center for Contemporary Art (NCCA) and the Sverdlovsk Region Governor's Office are pleased to announce the opening of the 1st Ural Industrial Biennial of Contemporary Art.
The biennial will take place in the Ural Workers Printing Press Building (main project) and in four large industrial plants (special projects) in the city of Ekaterinburg.
The biennial also features a parallel program of events and thematic exhibitions at museums, galleries, and library in Ekaterinburg, Nizhny Tagil, and Nevyansk. It runs from September 9th till October 10th, 2010.
Admission: 100 rubles or free (depends on the exposition)
The printing house "Uralsky Rabochy" (The Ural Worker), Lenina prospect, 49. The exhibition opens for public 11a.m. - 9p.m. (Monday - day off). Admission - 100 rubles per person:

The Verkh-Isetsky Steel Plant hosts the main exposition. Kirova ulitsa, 28, the exposition is available 28. 8-11p.m., Monday - day off. Admission: 100 rubles:


The former Ural Worsted Plant - last year the plant was chosen as a place for the All-Russian Exhibition Of Contemporary Art. Novinskaya ulitsa, 2. The exposition is available 12a.m. - 7p.m., Monday - day off. Admission: 100 rubles:

The Ural Heavy Machine Building Plant (Uralmashzavod or UZTM) hosts a unique exhibtion from St.Petersburg artists. Direction: Ploshchad Pervoi pyatiletki (The Square of the First five-year plan), Tuesday - Friday, 2p.m. - 7p.m., Saturday - Sunday, 12a.m. - 7p.m. Free admission:
